Calling all princesses, superheroes and other creative costumers! While we can’t host our annual Pumpkin Palooza, we are still going to welcome fall as a church family. This year we are hosting The Great Pumpkin Smash! On Saturday, Oct. 24th we will have a door to door Pumpkin Smash. We want this to be fun for everyone involved, so we are asking both our children and adults to participate in different ways. Families will drive to a list of homes that are “hosting” a treat station. The object of the smash is for children to quietly “smash” a pumpkin on the host’s door (as a thank you) and sneak away with one of the treats.
There are two ways you can participate
- Have your children decorate and write encouraging messages on the paper pumpkin templates Jamie will send out.
- Host a door/treat station. This simply entails registering and leaving a bowl of treats on your front door.
